MSP -- Nuts or cheese to gift

mplsmike Oct 27, 2008 09:59 AM

My dad is a nut fanatic (cashews and pistachios in particular). Also a big cheesehead. Is there anything local (MSP) that could be shipped to Milwaukee?

Give these guys a shout - they have some excellent nuts. You might have to ship it yourself.

I agree with St Paul Susie - Bergin nuts...they have a squirrel on the package and they also sell them at Byerly's, etc. I also received these as a gift once - jumbo cashews (my favorite). They're just good solid cashews.

There's that Thomasina's cashew nut brittle... Does that fit your requirements?

I know they have it (or have in the past) at Golden River and Fig or whatever that place is called on Grand Ave if you want to have a look.

Thomasina herself ships... I'll see if I can find a link--BRB.

      EDIT: here it is: http://thomasinascashewbrittle.com/

      Good luck!

Its Golden Fig Fine Foods,i think their association with River Chocolates is no more, but i cant be sure. They are super nice (not super cheap) but i bet they could work out something shipping wise.
