Recipe for worms in dirt

I remember having Worms in dirt at birthday parties when I was a kid but I don't know exactly what was in it. I think pudding mixed up with crumbled chocolate wafer cookies and gummie worms. I'm not sure but would love the real recipe if anyone has one.

    I used to make a birthday cake for my kids that had crumbled chocolate cookies and gummi worms on top.

      Another option is to use a rectangular pyrex dish & make a "garden". You can do another spin on it for summer & use a kid's beach pail & make the recipe with vanilla or banana pudding, use pulverized vanilla wafers, decorate with shells & call it "sand".
