Strega in Pleasantville closes?

It was a hot Italian restaurant for a while that had recently gone thru renovation and management changes...now the phone has been disconnected.

Loved it when the original owners were still there. It was intimate and comfortable with great food. After he left it was never the same.

yes indeed, there were two brothers that owned strega, they were great !!!!

Actually, one went on to open 121, but he is now gone from there and the chef from Strega now owns a wine store.

Well ya all know that the original chef of Strega, Dan Petrilli is the chef/owner of Haven in Pleasantville and still cooking great food. The Madden Bros. were great.

Patrilli cooked at Strega during the period prior to chef d'Aprile's arrival from Grappolo...and as Doreen mentions, he is still at work in his own place.

Well ya all know that the original chef of Strega, Dan Petrilli is the ...he was or was not origiual chef..i dont think so..but...??

Dan cooked at Strega after the original owners left. Frank Bueti was the original chef.

yes its closed, indeed it used to be a wonderful place, but since original owners sold it, its been down hill ever since
