Need Cool Bar, Great Jukebox, Food Ok
On b-trip to SF at Hilton on O'Farrell. Looking for a great hangout bar with good tunes, some food, dive bar but not really. Willing to take cab within reason. Pool tables a plus. Definitely DO NOT want to be were all the conventioneers will be.

Recently had a fun time at Jay'n Bee Club. This place has been around for a long time, cannot beat the prices, Matha's Kitchen serving up Mexican food, very cool Juke Box and pool table..interesting mix of people.
In the Mission about 10-15 min cab ride

Rite Spot is pretty great. Food is just this side of ok. I have no idea what the jukebox
is like because there's usually someone in there playing the piano or otherwise making
noise. Desolate-seeming (but not) neighborhood. Hookers right outside (but not the
kind who will either rob or tempt you). Easy cab ride from your hotel. No pool. But it's
two blocks to the Uptown which has a table (and no food and a great jukebox). From
there, it's three blocks north to Zeitgeist: very good food, I think they have a pool table,
world-class oudoor Biergarten setting. Of the three, Zeitgeist is the least pleasant to
go to alone.-----
