Curry Fries.

I know that Solas has awesome ones. I think Grand Canal (is it called Grand Canal anymore?) used to have some that were just okay. Where else can I find some delicious curry 'n' chips?

Spirit Bar in Porter Square has recently spiffed up its food. But the stalwarts remain - such as chicken curry served over rice, fries, or both. The curry is not half bad.

Not sure what area you're looking for, but I've enjoyed a lovely batch of these at Old Magoun's Saloon in Magoun Square, Somerville (right near the Medford line), alongside a very respectable burger.

MJ O'Connors has a good house made curry with their chips.

The Squealing Pig near Brigham Circle has them.

And they are pretty good, too.

              A third thumbs-up for the Pig's version.

Stone's Public House in Ashland has a good version.

The version at J.J. Foley's Cafe in the South End is respectable: pretty good fries with a British-style brown curry gravy. Order it with a friend; they get soggy fast.
