Leinenkugel's Original in NoVA?

monkeyrotica Oct 24, 2008 08:52 AM

Are there any stores in NoVA or DC that sell Leinenkugel's Original?

All I can find are the berry, honey, wheat, and occasionally the Red. I'm having a Wisconsin brat party and need some appropriate beer. Thanks.

The distributor is called Premium. Are you looking for bottles or kegs? You can special order it from Total Wine but it takes a week or so. Otherwise, there is a liquor store on Wisconsin Ave. just past passed Georgetown that should carry it if you call. I can't recall the name but it is before the whole foods and its the oldest liquor store in that area. Good LUck!

Cool. Looking for bottles, so I guess I'll give Total Wine a call.

Do let us know if you luck out with Total Wine

I love Leinie's original -- but have never found it out here (always bring back a case of that or Point Special with me when traveling back from Wisconsin)

Here's a link to a list of their Virginia distributors. Maybe someone at the Chantilly outfit can help you.

I found it once at Lost Dog Cafe in Arlington, but it has been awhile.
