Where to buy smoked paprika?

I am looking for a place to but some smoked paprika.

  1. Whereabouts are you located? House of Spice in Kensington Market would be a good bet. I've bought mine at Bruno's on Avenue Rd.

I know House of Spice has it - they even carry it in bulk packages. And it's very good stuff

    2. I recently bought some at Michangelo's in Mississauga, my favorite food store. I'm sure I've seen it in Longo's too so I would expect most of the better grocery stores will sell it. Look for a small, bright red, rectangular can in the spice sections. Ask if you don't see it because some stores merchandise specialty seasonings in a separate spot.
      Good luck Ribboy.

      1. Smoked paprika has become a mainstream item: McCormick's now has it in its lineup. I saw it at Lady York on Dufferin the other day.

          thanks...i will persue those idea's...

        2. Chris's Cheese at SLM has the Spanish variety which I think is worth it just for the retro picture on the can.

          1. Royal Beef on the Danforth is where I got my last batch. 1968 Danforth, north side, between Coxwell and Woodbine. Go on Saturday morning and grab a fresh canoli :-)
