How's the dining room at Beechwood?

Most of the pictures on the website seem to be of the bar/lounge area.

I'm trying to choose a restaurant for my birthday dinner with my girlfriends. =) Looking for a relaxed atmosphere, good food, on the westside...

The dining room, in contrast to the bar/lounge, is small and relatively quiet.

I agree with MahiMahiFish. I remember Beechwood's dining room to be very loud .. not exactly "relaxed" IMO either.

I like Beechwood, however, I don't associate the place with a "relaxed" atmosphere. Rustic Canyon sounds like it meets all your requirements nicely!

If cocktails and scene are 80% as opposed to food and service, Beechwood fits. If you are more concerned with food and drink wine, maybe Wilshire or Rustic Canyon.

Those photos are pretty much of the whole place - that main room is the dining room. As you can tell, it's a casual vibe, fun with good energy. Food is not bad, can be hit or miss, but the fries are great. I'd say that it would be a fun, laid back place to go. If this weather holds up, the patio would be nice.
