Anybody know where I can purchase Turducken in the West Palm Beach area. Want to give it a try this Thanksgiving and shipping is too expensive to purchase that way. Thanks in advance!

We ordered ours from Cajun Grocer and it was delicious. The cornbread stuffing, however, left a lot to be desired. I did like its gamey taste though. Luckily my buddy makes an awesome jalapeno cornbread stuffing so I went with that one instead. Oh, and take it from me - make sure you have a good working meat thermometer! We had 2 that looked like they were at least 25 years old and they blew. Almost ended up overcooking the bird(s?) but luckily gambled that the meters were wrong and it paid off. I had leftovers last night and it was damn good.

If you want Turduken, then you need to go to the source (Louisiana). Call Chris' Specialty Meats in Baton Rouge, LA and they will arrange delivery through a local UPS Store. My experience is that the local frozen grocery store variety is not even close to the real deal. Geaux Tigers!

Try Whole Foods. I know they have a store in WPB. I believe I saw it in the South Miami one last year but can't be 100% sure.

My husband is a chef and we actually "built" this beast from scratch one year...he boned out all the various birds and we made the stuffings and stuffed this poor thing till it was ready to burst!!! Yes- it was good, but was so heavy that it broke my oven door when we tried to rest it on there taking it out of the oven...just lifting it out was a 2 person job! If I ever want to make it again, I will definitely try the recommendations for cajungrocer.com!!!

Has anyone checked out the FM turducken i called and they said they made them there fresh and were 7.99 a lb now from looking in the internet they say 85.00 delivered so if its a 12lb then its about the same price cheaper

Yeah, thats the website I was gonna use. About how long in advance of T-day should I order? I imagine they ship from LA so getting to Miami shouldnt be more than 2 days (3 MAX) via Ground. Keeping in mind they need to thaw too...

I've seen frozen turducken at Delaware Chicken (4191 N State Road 7, Hollywood, FL 33021(954) 983-6831) and if you want to try making it yourself they would probably bone a chicken, duck, and turkey for you.

Just recently we saw frozen turducken at the Publix in Deerfield Beach at the Hillsboro Square plaza (150 S Federal Hwy, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441-4128 Main: [phone].) It's possible your local Publix could order one for you.
