Oysters in Calgary

Seeing as this is a month that ends in "R" and Chow.com has published an oyster tasting guide, I was wondering what were chowhounders favourite places in Calgary to go for oysters? I've tried Big Fish and Red Door Bistro but was wondering what are other good places to go? I am looking for a nice selection and decent atmosphere with really fresh quality. Thanks very much!

Embarcadero has some great oysters and they arent super expensive. Catch is another favorite but its expensive.

The Embarcadero has a wide selection of oysters, and an extensive wine list as well. I haven't tried any of their other food though, aside from the spring rolls (which are fantastic!)

I think you found the best in town. BF and RD both get the oysters from the same supplier. I understand they are flown into Calgary 3 times per week. Fresh is always best and a bit hit and miss here on the prairies.

Catch. I've had issues with their consistency in other areas but I find their knowledge and selection of oysters is good.

What did you think of the oysters at Big Fish and Red Door Bistro?

My friends and I go to Red Door for oysters and cocktails after work and have always had a good experience there! Catch is good too but a bit pricey and stuffy in my opinion.
