I'm cooking an Asian meal this weekend and I need to find a good Asian market in the Portsmouth area. I'm relatively new and don't know of any! Please help. Thanks!

There's a fairly decent market on the Newington border next to Dunkin Donuts across from BJ's:

    Lo's Seafood & Oriental Market
    1976 Woodbury Ave
    Portsmouth, NH 03801

There's a larger market in Somersworth, "Lucky Supermarket" but that may be a bit out of the way for you.

Thanks! I've driven past Lo's a bunch of times, but for some reason thought they only had seafood. Does "Lucky" have a better selection?

I think Lucky has more International variety: Indian, Asian and some South American, but overall Lo's is better for for purely "Asian," but it's much smaller.

        I prefer Lo's overall.

I went to Lo's, it's fantastic! Thank you for the tip. I found everything I needed.

I'm very happy that this worked out for you. If you ever find a good latino market in our area, please let ME know . . .

            Thanks.
