  1. I always order the pappardelle w/mushroom ragu at Crispo (a special that's always on the menu).
Craft has great mushrooms as well.

Ditto Craft. I'd also add in Gramercy Tavern's mushroom ravioli.

BiCE's veal and musroom ravioli with a mushroom sauce...INCREDIBLE!

thanks all! will have to try craft

        2. Third Craft!

The Garganelli with Funghi Trifolati at Babbo is awesome!

There is a mushroom festival going on at Brasserie 8 1/2. I haven't tried so I can't attest to its quality, but thought you might be interested.

Edit: Also forgot. It is matsutake season now. A lot of Japanese restaurants will have matsutake, like grilled fresh matsutake at Aburiya, rice with matsutake in clay pot, dobin mushi with matsutake, etc. It's heaven!

          1. I agree with Craft but a little more specifically, Craft Steak has some amazing mushroom sides (hen of the woods was fantastic when had it a while back).

            1. There is a great dish I've seen served in several restaurants recently, polenta with a fricasse of wild mushrooms. Scarpetta serves it, as well as Alto on East 53rd. Both are wonderfully rich and satisfying.

all great. anything that's more take-out, easy to grab thats great. There's a place in LA if anyone is familar, Joan's on third that has an awesome mushroom mix. Something like that.
                Thanks

              2. How ironic
