Free Birthday Dinners

I'm wondering if anyone knows of restaurants that offer a free dinner for your birthday in Manhattan or the outer boroughs. I'm looking for restaurants that could:

1) Require you to register with them and then send you a coupon when it comes time for your birthday

2) Offer a free/discounted meal for the birthday boy/girl on the day of their birthday.

Who doesn't want a free meal, right?

The two I can think of are:

The Patina Restaurant Group will send you a coupon for $50 a week before your birthday when you sign up at Their restaurants are: The Grand Tier, Brasserie 8 1/2, The Sea Grill, and many more.

Henry's End in Brooklyn Heights also gives free birthday dinners when you sign up in their restaurant.

Look forward to hearing any other finds!

  1. It's not really a "dinner" but Dive Bar (Amsterdam at 95th/96th) offers as many wings as you are old (i.e. you turn 40, you get 40 wings free). Eat-in only, I believe.

    1. Turkish Kitchen - Gift : $25.00 for a party of 3 or more. $10.00 for up to 2 persons.

      1. If you join (free) Dine Out New York:

They will send you a discount at their partner restaurants to be used within a month of your birthday.

Also, East of Eighth does a similar thing. So register to get their newsletters and they will send you a discount for your birthday, but I think you give them your e-mail when you dine there by filling out a card.

        1. Portofino does; everytime you go they have you fill out a card with your info on it and then they send you a gift cetificate right before your birthday. Buy one get one.
