        <content>Are there any restaurants or places that offer some good cooking classes for a relative beginner? Something reasonably priced for one or two people would be great. 

I've only seen that the University Club at Mizzou offers cooking classes, but only to its members.

St. Louis/Kansas City is a bit of a drive for a class...</content>

      <content>The Yates House Bed and Breakfast in Rocheport offers cooking classes.  I have not taken them, but I have stayed there and the food there is amazing!</content>

      <content>I'm going to second the Career Center. Carri Risner, who teaches a lot of their classes is an excellent cook who is highly skilled and used to own a great restaurant in town.</content>
