Some friends and I are going to a haunted house in Woodland hills on Tuesday and would like some suggestions on where to eat.

Thanks in advance,

Rashida

What are you looking for? And how far from the haunted house (I'm assuming the one on Topanga) are you willing to drive? Cavaretta's Italian Deli on Sherman Way just west of Topanga is great for subs, etc. Boulevard Burger on Ventura across from Vista Lexus has delicious burgers (with grilled onions). Dan's Super Subs on Ventura west of Topanga has great subs (but I prefer Cavaretta's). There's a Tommy's on Topanga north of Sherman Way. I think you'll get a wealth of replies if you're more specific as to your goals.

You need to supply more details. Types of food? Price range? Kids? Ages? Exceptions?

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse at the Promenade Mall is great

          To be more specific:

          4 adults
          Price range = $10-$20
          All types of cuisine
Casual dine in place with alcohol
Relatively close to the haunted house on Topanga

For Chinese, Yang Chow is across the street on Topanga. I'm not sure if they're open for lunch but I think so.

A nice place that has a 'sports bar' atmosphere, right around the corner on Victory is Yankee Doodles. Easy type food, hamburgers, etc.

              Yankee Doodles (818) 883-3030
21870 Victory Blvd, Woodland Hills, CA 91367

A little farther on Canoga just so. of Victory is BJ's, and next door down is Cheesecake Factory.

On Vanowen (a little further, but not far) is Sierra's Mexican restaurant. It's fair food at good prices. Great cadillac marguerita's.

PF Changs is on Oxnard just east of Topanga.

There is a plethora of restaurants in that area. I don't think you'll have any problems finding a decent place.

              Enjoy.

For your price range Head to the topanga pizza kitchen. its on ventura blvd just west of fallbrook. the chef owner used to be a chef at Spago so the pastas and pizzas are very close to spago, but at a fraction of the cost. small pizza is 5.95, pastas are in the 8-12 range with entrees starting at about $14.00

I really like StoneFire Grill, on the North-West corner of Fallbrook and Victory, five minutes from Topanga. Salads, Pizza, Barbecued Chicken and Tri-Tip are all good. I especially like the Grilled Salad with Chicken. Portions are rather large for salads. They have three sizes. Medium is more than enough for two people and is around $9. Dinner for two is usually $20.

Yang Chow is great if you want Chinese. There is also the Cheesecake Factory on Canoga..always good, but noisy. Also on Canoga is Guacho Grill for meat, chicken and a great salmon with spinach, mushrooms, herbs baked in foil. California Pizza Kitchen on Topanga. Topanga Pizza would be great as well...there are quite a few good places..good luck!!
