Marla's in Beaumont, Ca
Just a quick suggestion to any Chowhounds on the I-10 to the Coachella Valley (Palm Springs, Palm Desert, etc.) or who live in "the Pass". Try Marla's (1310 E 6TH St, Beaumont, CA 92223-2504 ). The menu is mostly a mix of good Mexican (try the carnitas, my favorite) and home style American. The burger is made of 100% Angus beef and while cooked medium to medium well, is still juicy and very tasty.
Marla herself greets her guests. Full bar and facilities for large groups in private rooms.
