Sab E Lee crabmeat question

Crabmeat fried rice is one of my wife’s favoritist of dishes. Thus far I’ve advised her not to get it since the crabmeat at Thai restaurants is often of very low quality, possessing a funky texture and flavor.

So, does Sab E Lee use a chow-worthy quality of crab, or is it the bad stuff defrosted out of big frozen blocks?

I just got back from Sab-E Lee and asked Koby.
    He uses the real stuff.
Also for you regulars he is closed this coming Monday.

Your mission, should you decide to accept: Call Koby, ask him, and tell us what he said.

But fried rice is often a leftover dish, and given that there is no fresh crab on the menu, and the price is only $6.50, I would expect the fake stuff.

Golly gee, I'd sure like an answer. Got the gumption to try again.
