Pre Theater Dinner Chinese or Italian

Would appreciate recommendations for Chinese or Italian with walking distance of Tmes Square theaters.

    For Italian, I recently went to Insieme and had a very good meal. And for Chinese, Ruby Foo's is a good option, very quick and easy.

        Italian: Trattoria Trecolori, on 47th St., b/t B'way & 8th Av., a favorite of mine and many other Hounds.

          Szechuan Gourmet is probably the best Chinese in the area. Make a reservation if it's a weekend night. Wu Liang Ye is also an option if it's more geographically close to your theatre.

            I second your suggestions for chinese. For Italian, I really like Maria Pia.
