Rehearsal Dinner at Downtown BYOB Phil. Restaurant

MDGlovely Oct 18, 2008 04:00 PM

Looking to have a rehearsal dinner for about 35 people at a nice downtown Philadelphia BYOB restaurant. Thinking of Italian or French cuisine, though open to suggestions. Ideally, I would like them to have an extra room (or the ability to open up the entire space) so that we can have up to one hundred people for after-dinner drinks and dessert.

I am from Miami so any and all help is appreciated!

Thank you!

You may have trouble with finding a BYOB in Center City that has the room to accommodate 35 people, let alone 100 for dessert. If it doesn't need to be a restaurant, you might consider Upstairs at DiBruno Bros. We had a rehearsal event for 70 the night before our wedding with antipasti/appetizers, sandwiches, salads, and desserts and you can bring your own alcohol, but they will also do sit down dinners.

Chinatown might be an option for you if you are willing to go casual. Most "nicer" BYOBs (such as Italian and French) only seat up to 40, so it would be difficult to rent out the entire restaurant but it may be possible on a weeknight.
