Despaña Hot Chocolate/Churros - is it the real deal?

I was browsing a posting on spanish style hot chocolate earlier this year where despaña was mentioned as a source for authentic spanish style hot chocolate nad churros, however it didn't really have a difinitive answer as to whether or not it was good or not. Other people mentioned Pamplona as authentic, which i've had, and it blantantly isn't - seemed like just run of the mill hot chocolate to me. I'm looking for this to compare to valor or chocolateria san gines in madrid - basically hot chocolate that is too thick to actually drink, its basically just a dipping sauce. think a cup of hot nutella. I'm not as picky about the churros as they're just a tool for lapping up the chocolate. Can anyone speak to despaña's authenticity?

If this is no good, i'm just gonna melt a hunk of cholocate in a mug in the microwave I guess! I don't know why this is so hard for places to get right!

I know exactly the type of chocolate your talking about as we grew up whipping our own with tabs of drinking chocolate and a batidor. I haven't seen the tabs of chocolate at Despaña (although I have seen them at Fairway), however given the otherwise spectacularly authentic foods at Despaña, I think if any place in the city would have them, it would be them.
