Bento boxes

What are the best places to find bento boxes? Not the pre-packed lunches, but the actual boxes in which you can put your own lunch. I am looking for a gift and was wondering if we had any good stores in Montreal. A website with relatively cheap shipping to Montreal would be good too.

If you are looking for something more kawaii (think Hello Kitty), I remember seing them at a Japanese store in one of the underground tunnels between two big underground malls. It might be between Palace Montreal Trust and Eaton, but not sure, I always get lost in the city.

The Epicerie Japanese Koreen (the one at St-Catherine/St Marc ) also has more standard boxes and Mr Bentos.

I bought mine, the Zojirushi Mr. Bento (or however it's spelled) at the Korean grocery store on Ste-Catherine, near St-Marc.
However, it wasn't inexpensive. I think they sell other models for less.

Hiya, I would check out the Japanese groceries in the neighbourhood - see a good list here:

Good luck, be sure to report back when you find them!
