Italian in Westchester

My husband's participating in a bike tour on Sunday. So he's decided he has to ingest massive amounts of carbs on Saturday. What are people's favorite (casual) italian places in Lower Westchester?

    Buon Amici is good and so is La Bocca in White Plains....

        Many, which you can find by searching here.

        A new one which was recommended to me, that I haven't tried yet, is Buon Amici on Central Ave., near the County Center.

        My favorites are Spadaro in New Rochelle (probably no reservations for tomorrow), Piero's, T&Js, both in Portchester, Silvio in Thornwood, Rustico in Scarsdale, and Mamma Francesca in New Rochelle.

        Piccolo Mulino in Mamaroneck gets good reviews here, as does Meritage in Scarsdale. The latter may be too fancy.

        People love their Italian restaurants, so keep watch here.
