Dinner with the ex....

I'm having dinner tonight with my ex (who I haven't seen in three months) and am looking for the perfect spot. I've been wanting to try The Redhead but am worried it may not be the right fit, given that it's more of a bar than a restaurant. I'm looking for a place with entrees $20 or less and preferably below 23rd street. In terms of atmosphere, I'd like something not too overly romantic and with tables not crammed on top of each other. Any suggestions?

    1. I just went to The Redhead for the first time last night, and I definitely think it's more restaurant than bar. The food was great, and I don't think it is too romantic - there was a mix of dates and mixed groups. But the tables were pretty close so that might nix it for you. If you do go, get the shrimp and grits.

      1. The Redhead is definitely good spot, however, I think the tables are very close together. Not romantic and a bit noisy but otherwise, I think it fits your bill.
