Lunch in Fairfield

Looking for good lunch recs near Sacred Heart. Going to visit my brother for the day, and don't want to be eating at Ruby Tuesday's. American Pub or Italian would be great.

Try Tuscany Ristorante on Madison Avenue in Bridgeport.

Tuscany is good. Could try The Field or Lady Luck on Fairfield Ave for pub food though. The Field has some pretty good Irish food. Lady Luck is a little more unusual.

Not sure what you are looking for but there are several decent places in the center of fairfield. I liked Wild rice for sushi and japanese. Chef's Table is good if you want something a little casual.

beach cafe is very good, and very well priced. the menu is fairly diverse. we had a great meal there like 3 weeks ago. the desserts are passable though, just have coffee.

Osianna is very good, mediterranean style food. Quattro Pazzi for italian is close by. Beach House is good, more casual. Vin 55 recently opened, also italian. I haven't been there but heard the food is okay.
