New bistro in Danvers - 9 Elm

ljw7 Oct 16, 2008 07:13 AM

I went to 9 Elm last week. I think it had been open just a couple weeks. It's in downtown Danvers. I had a salad with pears and some squash bisque. Both very good. I wasn't thrilled with the crab cake but my daughter's salmon with lemon beurre blanc was also very good. It's a very small place and the wait staff was still getting organized but overall I was very pleased. Definitely worth another visit, especially for Danvers.

Thanks for the review, I've been wanting to try this place. How was the crowd/wait? Did you go weeknight or weekend?

I went early on a Saturday night. Reasonable traffic but no wait. (Don't think the economy is helping with their launch).
