Best German food w/entertainment in Houston?

I am going to eat German food with a group of people in Houston. Most of them are into the entertainment, but I would like to suggest the place that might have the best food as well.
We need to stick to central Houston, and the only two that I know of are Old Heidelberg and Rudi Lechners, with entertainment. Any suggestions for the group? How about for me when I go merely for good German food without entertainment?
