If you love France and food, you'll enjoy this book. Titled " The Sharper your Knife, The Less you Cry" by Kathleen Flinn. True story tells of a London-based middle management exec who gets laid off and decides to pursue her dream.....pack up, move to Paris and attend Le Cordon Bleu. Very enjoyable and an easy read on your next flight to Paris!

It's a great read! I was surprised it didn't win either the Beard or the IACP awards.

and if you get the chance to meet Kathleen, she's adorable.

I LOVED that book, too. I was surprised that it wasn't at least nominated for IACP or James Beard, too. I did hear that it was a finalist for some other book award, though. Not sure which one.

Rumor has it that it's being turned into a movie, either on HBO or Lifetime.
