Sorry if this is in the wrong bit - BUT it is food related!!

I'm making some cupcakes for a friend and I need something to transport them in - does anyone know anywhere in Central London where I can either buy those chinese style food cartons or some cardboard cake boxes?

Ideally I'm looking for the chinese style food cartons as Hummingbird Bakery use them and I think they're really cute!

Thanks for any help!

Cute idea!

I did a google search for 'chinese takeaway boxes' and came up with a bunch of links. Am sure you could do the same.

Also seems to me that I have seen them at places like Confetti (Tottenham Court Road/Goodge Street) as containers for wedding and party gifts.

Good luck...

You're most welcome! Hope they have something that works for you. The big Paperchase across the street might also have something useful for transporting cupcakes if Confetti doesn't.

Just to let you know that I found them in Confetti! Only wish I'd gone there BEFORE the chinese supermarket - I have a very weak stomach for smells and I'm afraid I was very unwell in there!
Thanks for your help.

w00t! Happy to hear about Confetti. Bummer about the Chinese supermarket. I love shopping for food with my friends in Chinatown, but I know what you mean about the smells... Luckily my stomach is a bit stronger than yours.

Have a good weekend
