For breakfast in Rockport, Flav's is a local hangout and for dinner there is My Place and Emerson Inn. In Gloucester Sugar Magnolia's has an excellent breakfast and lunch, Franklin Cafe for dinner, also The Causeway a local place for reasonable seafood and it's BYO.

For the Rockport area, you must stop for a late breakfast at the Atlantis Restaurant on the Ocean in Gloucester. Address is 125 Atlantic Road. Beautiful ocean view and the food is very good.
For Lobster in Rockport, try The Lobster Pool, 329 Granite Street. Right downtown Rockport, at the beginning of Bear Neck is the Greenery, a very nice restaurant for lunch or dinner. Make sure you eat in the back overlooking the water.

For dinner in Salem the Grapevine in downtown Salem is wonderful. For a drink in Salem, head into the bar at the Hawthorne Hotel - fireplace, casual.
Also, for something fun on Essex St. is the Witch City Consignment Store.
