There is a large, very busy market for Middle Eastern things, Halal, plus south Asian at Thorncliffe Park and Banigan Drive. The meat counter is large, very clean, and processes an amazing amount of lamb and goat from the carcasses. They can debone for you.
I have forgotten the name of it, but you drive north on Thorncliffe Park to Banigan, and look for the busy mid-eastern place. http://www.mapquest.com/maps?city=Tor...›2 Replies-

re: warlock
Yes, I have a poor memory for unfamiliar names, but this is a place where I'll make a special trip for mid-eastern specialties, and fresh meat.

Not going to taste as good without the bones.....
I often get big bags of frozen goat meat (in chunks with bones) from the Food Basics at Gerrard Square - very cheap and great in a long braise. I get a bit sketched out by the stink and lack of cleanliness at the butcher shops in Little India.
