"MyChow" drop down menu problem

I've been enjoying the easy access to MyChow via the dropdown menu. However, I noticed today that sometimes the dropdown *hides* behind the advertising that is on the top right. I thought I noticed it yesterday but then I didn't see it happen again and thought perhaps I'd imagined it. But then it just happened again. This time I took note of which ad was appearing right there -- the Illy coffee ad. The dropdown menu hides behind it. As a point of differentiation, right now the New York Taste ad is on the upper right and the dropdown menu *does not* hide.

So what's up?

8 pm and it's still doing the same thing. Note: it only seems to happen when the Illy coffee ad is the ad in the uppermost right spot (just below "who's talking".

Any idea why this is so?

I haven't been able to duplicate this problem, though I have a general sense of what you mean, since I've seen it happen on other sites (there's a Yoville ad on Facebook that's been driving me nuts for weeks with this). The Illy ad is working okay for me, though.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I couldn't replicate with just ad blockers disabled.
I managed to get it when I disabled both ad blockers and script blockers, so something in the ad script is bringing th ad to the top layer.

Okay you are waaaaay ahead of me technologically. Is this something that I am supposed to fix by doing something to my computer or is it something on the CH site?

It's something from the ad hosting site, not your computer, and I don't know if it is fixable on the chow server, since this seems to be in the add script.
It also doesn't happen every time the illey coffee ad appears, about one in three or four from what I could see.

Okay thanks. I must just happen to get the Illy ad more than any other since I've noticed it so often now. Strange. Thanks for the help.
