Fresco and Company

Hi,

I just noticed a new store fresco and company near where i work. From what I gather they sell already marinated and preapred measl that just need some cooking.

Is any of their stuff any good?
Any recomendations?

I went in last week and got two items - a udon noodle/chicken/veg stir fy, and two salmon filets.

The stir-fry was good, but we found the portion size to be lacking. So much so that I had to supplement it with more chicken and bok-choi in order to feed myself, my husband and our 15 month old daughter.

The salmon was awful. It was stuffed with mushrooms and cilantro (I think) and was not very good at all.

I'd probably get a stir-fry again - but not the meats. It would have been nice to be able to buy additional sauce for the stir-fry which would have aided in stretching the meal, but that is not an option.

Whatever you do, stay away from the Pad thai.....quite awful. One taste and threw the entire thing out. Complete waste of money. Open a can of soup instead.

Waste of money and time. For a couple bucks more you can pick up some Pad Thai or Stir Fry with nearly the same portion, at any restaurant.

Agreed. I was excited by the concept when they opened up their Beaches location. It's a weird, weird concept. Food was nothing spectacular. And all that packaging??
