Japanese comfort food on Western in Gardena

kevin Oct 14, 2008 04:08 PM

There was a restaurant of the sort serving hamburg steak with demiglace, fried cutlet type dishes, curry, etc, even foie gras at reasonable prices.

It was opened by the chef/owner of Mako fusion cuisine on Beverly Dr.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about and is this Gardena comfort food restaurant still around?

I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head, but I think you are talking about the place that was located in the same lot as where Sanuki no Sato is located. It closed a while ago...sorry....

Maybe you're thinking of Bistro Laramie?
