ndl Oct 14, 2008 08:12 AM

looking for restaurants that serve simple and extremely fresh fish dishes, like what melissa clark described recently in the times:

Fuleen is famous for its fresh fish dishes.

I would second the recommendation of Fuleen Seafood and add the Oriental Garden as another possibility.

I recently had a great steamed fish dish at Mandarin Court on Mott Street. The dim sum has been off here but the dinner has always been excellent.

Oriental Garden has a very nice selection of fresh fish and they will prepare it pretty much any way you want it...if you communicate it correctly to your waiter...They do a raw Geoduck as well as a very very lightly stir-fried version that are both amazing...
