Need new Chinese delivery, Pasadena

With Grandview Palace's closing we need a reliable delivery place for basic Chinese, please. We live in "Madison Heights" - so not far from the 110 freeway at Arroyo. Thanks!

Panda on Foothill, but we haven't had it for awhile, and they aspire to more than basic -- in terms of price, if not in quality.

Thanks for everyone's responses. I love Fu Shing for take out, but we're too far for delivery. Ditto Panda on Foothill. We're right where the 110 Freeway ends @ Arroyo so in foodie terms, a few blocks east of Derek's. The Grandview Palace on Fair Oaks & Ca closing - a victim I believe of the Huntington Hospital expansion. Thanks for the Fortune Chinese rec. We've eaten there once or twice of a weekend afternoon - good food - and they're always empty when I walk by. I've never understood it, but maybe they have a thriving delivery business. There really are few Chinese restaurants that serve this part of town. We do go to Alhambra, Valley Blvd, etc. but not too many delivery options. Thanks for the help.

Have you asked about delivery? The restaurant used to cheerfully deliver when I lived a half-mile west of where you are, and they're really good about delivering to the farther reaches of Altadena. Madison Heights seems relatively easy. They're so much better than other local delivery options that there really isn't even a number two.

Hi, Condiment. Do you mean Fu Shing might deliver? Wasn't certain if you meant them or Fortune Chinese. We seem pretty far away (like a 20 minute drive) from Fu Shing but if you think they might deliver I'm game. Thanks.

I live in the same area (San Rafael Heights) and often order from Fortune Chinese in Old Town. I think they're very good quality. Definitely recommend them.

Wait - is the Grandview Palace at the intersection of Fair Oaks / California closing, or the one on Colorado east of Altadena / west of San Gabriel? Or both???!!! (We get take away from the one on Colorado every other week - at least.)

I always get my delivery from Fu Shing, but they may be a bit too far east for you. Definitely worth investigating, though.
