dinner during head of the charles

My husband and I will be visiting Boston with our 14 year old daughter the weekend of the head of the charles and need recommendations for restaurants near the Taj for dinner on SAturday night. I'd like something new American, French or Italian and preferably with entrees under $30 and within walking distance of the hotel. Any thoughts?

Teatro is right around the corner and very good. Via Matta is 4 blocks away and also good northern Italian.
