Has anyone been to the new Epicure Market in Sunny Isle? Curious how it compares to original location. Thanks

  1. I was there yesterday, and its larger and was very busy....the noise level was much greater. The store is arranged differently, and it will take some time to get used to after shopping on Alton Road for thirty years. The deli counter is larger, but you can't see the back row of goodies without bending down. All of their standard fare was offered and people were stocking up. The bakery is nice, lots to pick from. Tried to go today but the power was out on Collins this afternoon.

I was there over the weekend. I'm very happy to have a place to get "unusual" ingredients locally. I think the produce section is smaller than Alton Road, but I could be wrong. My biggest question is why don't they have prices on their fish and meat? Are you supposed to ask on each separate item, or is it not supposed to matter? In this economy, I would think it makes a difference.

We were there Sunday morning, 10-11 and it is a nice set up and is a welcomed addition for Aventura people. Bar/Coffee Bar is nice, needs some work on service and logistics as the alcohol bar is a new addtion. Lots of outdoor light so it feels more natural.

Epicure: If you have to ask you can't afford it.
