When you want a healthy yet good and fulfilling meal where do you go and what do you order....

Veggie Grill, any of the (vegan) sandwiches. Love this place. Not low carb, but it fulfills me...

Flame Broiler - Chicken Veggie bowl with brown rice, no sauce, and white meat chicken. You can add the sauce yourself. If you're doing very low carb/cal do no rice and just veggies.

El Pollo Loco - Ceasar Pollo Salad - no dressing with a side of low fat cilantro dressing. Then throw half of the salsa bar on top.

Fukada - Cold Soba with tanuki and spicy tuna don with brown rice. Good amount of carbs, but not too much fried or unhealthy items in this combo (tanuki is the tempura crumbs, you can do the mountain veggies instead).

House of Shabu Shabu - Go easy on the goma (sesame sauce) and rice.

California Fish Grill - Cajun seared salmon or white roughy with rice. Get some grilled zucchini on the side too.

Yardhouse - Crunchy Ahi Salad. According to the nutritional info on their website this yummy salad comes in at around 800 calories. Ask for the dressing on the side, and it's 300 calories and each tbsp of dressing adds like 50 calories.

Frequenting these places and checking out nutritional info beforehand has helped me lose 35 lbs in the last 8 months or so. Happy and healthy eating!
