Downtown ATL -- Dinner Options

I will be staying at the Hilton Atlanta at 255 Courtland Street, NE for a few days this coming week. I am looking for casual, but very good dinner options for myself -- possibly solo -- and with a couple of associates. All cuisines are fine and not too concerned about $$. Would prefer to walk from the hotel and non-chains and non-touristy are best if they exist. Of course, I'm open to chains if that is my best option.

I look forward to your recommendations.

Thanks,

There is Rosa's pizza, I think on Broad? Very good pizza
Ray's in the City, seafood, always a good meal.
Ted's Montana Grill, great burger and I did try their daily special once and it was terrific.
There is a Morton's downtown still, yes a chain but still very good.
I think Trader Vic's is in the Hilton, fun kitchy tropical drinks and apps.
If you want great, you need to make reservations and take a cab to Bacchanalia, not a long cab ride and a super great meal.
Hope you have a great time!

looks like you may be at Peachtree Plaz hotel--if youre nearby, they have a decent revolving restaurant on the top floor--i know,i know, its very touristy, but where you are staying is not really very safe to wlak around at night. If you do walk stay on Peachtree Rd,dont walk West.Their are 2 very good spots by Centennial park (take a cab) McCormick and Smicks at the Omni hotel and Ruth Chris on Spring st.
