Large individual turkey breast in GTA

dlw88 Oct 11, 2008 10:34 AM

Does anyone know of a store or butcher selling only a breast, which could serve 3-4? I've seen these purchased and used on many cooking shows, but have never looked to find something similar in the GTA.

Thanks in advance.

Loblaws on Christie at Dupont has large boneless turkey breasts. Smallest was about 1.6 kg, so should easily be able to find one to feed 3 - 4.

I saw one at Pusateri's yesterday, though I would have to warn you they cost more than the entire turkey. Best to call for details. They were organic, and grain fed versions.

      Cheers!

I saw one (only) at Reiter's on Church St. south of Wellesley St.. It was a double breast (not split) with bone in. About $33.

You could probably phone and order one.

I tried to do this at Bruno's ordering it on a Tuesday for pick-up on Saturday and when I arrived on Saturday my order was not there!.

But I have never had a problem with Reiter's.
