does anyone have a recipe for gorditas (beef stuffed pockets) from the Las Cruces/El Paso area? mine never puff up, and I so miss those tasty pockets!thanks!
one part softened salted butter. two parts warm water, three parts maseca. bring together by hand, form into patties, then deep fry 30 seconds. tthey will be flaky and puffed up.
