White truffle menu

Hi,

I know it's the beginning of white truffle season... i'm looking to do a tasting. Can anyone suggest a restaurant that has a menu for it?? Thanks!

Cru is the only place I know of that's done a full tasting menu in the past.

Del Posto used to have a white truffle tasting menu every winter. It was as good as it sounded. Call first to see if it is available.

A Voce and Eleven Madison Park usually have a dish or two in their menu that feature white truffle when in season. Last time I had the risotto with white truffle at EMP and it drew so much envy looks from diners nearby. The smell permuated the whole area. A Voce was also very generous on the truflle, but I don't know if it is going to happen without Chef Carmellini.

Le Cirque also serves white truffle menu every year.

One more for Del Posto--it generally wouldn't be my first choice for much (I'll take Babbo for a Batali fix and Scalini Fedeli for a fancy schmancy Italian fix), but I do try to get in during white truffle season. I don't recall a truffle tasting menu so much as truffle-larded options for every course (but then again, it's all just a drunken truffly haze; I probably just choose the a la carte options because I'm picky like that). The white truffle risotto is extraordinary.

does anyone know how much the tartufo d'alba, the itaian white truffles cost per lb ? this season i'll bet an order with pasta or rissotto will be $ 175 an order but what a way to go
