Downtown Vancouver on this Sunday

San Diego Chowhound needs help. I need recommendations for downtown Vancouver (near the Renaissance Hotel on Hastings St) for this Sunday night. Realizing it is Canada's Thanksgiving weekend will this mean many places are closed?

Your best bets will be the Asian restaurants. The izakayas and Jang Mo Jib at Robson/Denman, Azia and Sala Thai at Burrard/Smithe, Prima Taste at Robson/Seymour. If you are willing to travel a little, Phnom Pehn in Chinatown. I am not sure if any of them are open. It is best to call them before you go. Of course, every restaurant in Richmond will be packed ;)

Many will be closed. I just checked to see if Boneta will take a res for Sunday night using OpenTable - no tables until Tuesday....but Chambar seems to be taking reses. Call them up.
