I dont know enough about beer to go into any description or essay on it - though I will tell you I think its utterly delicious and one of the best beers I have recently enjoyed.

IMO, one of the better beers that New Belgium brews and one of the few I've really liked from them. Easy to drink, sweet, little bit of fruit taste (raisins and figs if I recall correctly), and rich malts.

Others you should try:
Unibroue's Maudite
The Lost Abbey's Cuvee de Tomme - local, limited production but you can usually find it around its release
The Lost Abbey's Veritas - local, good luck finding it but if you do definitely try
The Lost Abbey's 10 Commandments - recent release, probably still available
Alesmith's Grand Cru Ale - local, usually pretty easy to find and damned good
Russian River's Salvation - not my favorite Russian River beer or favorite Strong Dark Ale but it's still good and often on tap at one of the beer bars in town
