Change of staff at Veil

I heard that Johnny Zhu has left. Does anyone know where he went? Who took over? If Shannon is cooking it will still be great, but that can't last forever.

SO sorry to hear of VEIL closing.I've enjoyed Shannon Galusha's food there and when he was at the Grand Hyatt....very talented man....hopefully he'll find another venue soon to share his culinary talents here with us in Seattle.

Chef-owner Shannon Galusha...has been thinking about trying some new strategies, even perhaps rebranding Veil, "becoming a little more lowbrow." But he's in a wait-and-see mode: "I'm not really in a position to make knee-jerk reactions."

I thought that William Belickis is working on a new project. I hope he keeps a fine dining area within this new place.

I heard that his new place will have mutiple styles of dining within one establishment. Like a pub in one corner and white tablecloths in another. That was awhile ago, so maybe he has changed plans ....have you heard anything about timing?
