Sunday Brunch/lunch near Antique Row?
Heading to Philly with some friends for an event at an antiques shop at Pine and South 10th on Sunday, 10/19. Have been told to park in the Whole Foods garage on South Street. We're looking for a good place for brunch/lunch in that area. Any suggestions?
Many thanks!!

I like Fitzwater Cafe very much, at 7th and Fitzwater, just a few blocks walk. Not usually a long wait, and delicious food.
Also Beau Monde, a crepe place at 6th and Bainbridge - I've only had dinner there, which I've very much enjoyed, but I've heard their brunch is very good too.
And there is Sabrina's at 9th and Christian, but if you get there past 9:30AM, expect a wait, possibly long. But their food is good and you'd get the added plus of seeing the Italian Market, a famous Philly landmark - not quite as bustling on Sun. as Sat., but still quite fun.

There are a lot of great brunch options in that neighborhood. I live in the blocks between the whole foods and antiques row, and our favorites for brunch on a Sunday are Azul Cantina (mexican) at 10th and Spruce: http://www.azulcantina.com/ and the 10th Street Pour House (inexpensive, somewhat cajun-inspired), just north of 10th and Spruce.
I've enjoyed Mixto in the past, but the service is painfully slow. You may also want to try Kanella... I've eaten dinner at there (Greek BYOB also 10th and Spruce), and I'm really interested to try their brunch.

re: urbanfabric
I second Mixto - I've actually never had bad service there either. Plus, it's supposed to be nice all weekend so you can take advantage of outdoor seating for (probably, but hopefully not!) one of the last times.
Also, National Mechanics in Old City - thought I realize it's a longer jaunt - just started doing brunch a few months ago and it's wonderful. Make-your-own-Bloody-Mary bar!
