Lobster FYI for South Shore Hounds
Don't know how much longer the Saturday Farmers' Market in Hingham is running, but if you want really good, fresh, and inexpensive lobster, you've got to get yourself there. One stand (sorry, don't have the name to hand, but will get it and post later) sells lobsters off the back of a pickup. Culls are $4.50/lb. and mediums are $5.50 or $6.00/lb. They occasionally have selects, but they're usually gone by the time I get there. The culls are fine, and I don't think you can beat the price.

re: 9lives
I bought lobsters at Market Basket in Woburn yesterday for $3.99 a pound. They were on special yesterday morning. Normally they are $4.99 a pound. The lobsters were a little over a pound each. Some were soft shell and some were hard shell. I boiled them and had them with melted butter. The lower prices are great for the consumers but not great for the lobstermen.
