Ideas near Elk CA

Heading to Elk CA soon for a 3 night get-a-way....
Looking for places to eat dinner and lunch...especially dinner.....
Saw in a previous post that many thought Saint Orres was good....
At $45 a pop is it worth it? If so I'm in! What else can y'all offer up to me.
Willing to drive 20ish miles north or south to Albion, Little River and Mendicono tot the North..
or....Manchester, and Point Arena to the South...
Ideas???

For a casual, down home lunch. Queenies Road House in Elk is great

Though I can't speak from experience, this restaurant has been getting rave reviews on Trip Advisor and other places. It is in Little River and is called, suprisingly, Petite Rive. It will sure be the first place I go next time we're in the Mendo area.

Big "yes" to St. Orres. I believe it is well worth it. My husband and I have had many wonderful dinners there.

I look forward to seeing what others suggest since we always seem to end up back at St. Orres for our fine dining meal when we are up there.
