Non-stick coating on Calphalon

I have a huge Calphalon One chef skillet that I have had for about 3 years. I use it all the time and am really careful with it (hand wash only, etc.). I just realized that my non sticlk coating is starting to wear away. What on earch is going on? HOw could this happen? This was a $200 (on sale!) skillet so I am really disappointed. Does calphalon have a warranty (of course I threw out my purchase info)?

  1. I had purchased two Calphalon Commercial Nonstick 12" fry pans 8 years ago. They recently became pitted, and not so non-stick. I was looking around for replacement pans at the local Calphalon outlet store, when the sales person said I should just send them in for warranty (the commercila nonstick, no longer produced, and your Calphalon Ones have lifetime warranties!). I didn't know about this... my wife was pretty skeptical, but 14 days after mailing my only two pans in, I received a box with 2 brand new Calphalon One 12" non-sticks!

A great return on a $30 each purchase on almost 8 years ago.

Look on for the warranty information, send it in with a note.

(BTW no need for purchase info or a receipt. I just set in the pans with a post-it note attached to them).
