NYC best Crab cakes....

Any suggestions?

  1. I'd have to go with Pearl Oyster Bar's. They have a crispy, buttery crust and are soft and filled with lump crab meat on the inside; big chunks of it you can actually see. It's served with a slaw and the best (and most imitated) tartar sauce in the city. I also had some good ones at Blue Ribbon downtown, a long time ago.

The Lobster Place crab cakes are the best hands down, it's 95% crab meat which why people love it. I know people who buy their crab cakes by the dozen, for a sit down dinner for two. But, you have to cook them yourself at home, preferably with a nice glass of white wine.
